Maintenance Technician

Requirements

• Good understanding of PC's and PLC troubleshooting
• Installing new plant equipment
• Able to document changes, equipment modifications, and new installations
• Ability to plan work that requires knowledge of electrical and mechanical theories and principals
• Practice a predictive/preventative approach to electrical and mechanical maintenance issues
• Develop working mechanical and electrical knowledge of material conveying, process water, chilled water, and compressed air systems
• Set up barrels and screws on extruders
• Set up all equipment for production runs
• Install power requirements for equipment modifications and installations
• Comply with company policies for software updating, filing, and archiving of PLC/PC applications
• Knowledge and experience with CMMS programs
• Comply with established safety rules and company policies and procedures
• Knowledge of 5S and lean principles

Benefits

• $2,000 Sign-On Bonus
• Starting pay rate $36.25 per hour + $2.00 per hour shift differential for night shift
