The Westover Companies is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance tasks, service requests, and preventative maintenance to properties and common areas. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, be able to work well with others, and demonstrate a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Requirements
- Exhibits strong commitment to the service needs of internal and external customers
- Strong communication skills with commercial team
- Must work well with leasing, office, and maintenance staff members
- Represents the company in a professional and courteous manner at all times
- Demonstrate the appropriate and safe use of standard hand and power tools
- Lifting and moving of heavy items (water heaters, appliances, rock salt, etc.)
- Perform routine, preventative maintenance
- Knowledge and practice of a variety of building trade skills
- Be able to work on step/extension ladders and roofs while following safety protocols
- Keep track of inventory and maintain a clean and stocked shop
- Complete work orders in a timely manner
- Identify safety and hazardous conditions and communicate any issues
- Follow company operational and safety procedures
- A positive, team-oriented attitude and understand and follow Westover Companies core values
- Reliable work ethic and dependable transportation; must maintain valid driver's license and working vehicle
