Manager, Hedge Accounting

Join Westpac as a Manager, Hedge Accounting and contribute to the team's technical finance, accounting, and advisory support to Treasury activities. As a Manager, you will be accountable for the completeness, accuracy, and integrity of hedge accounting across assigned portfolios.

Requirements

• Institutional banking or financial markets experience in a finance/hedge accounting role
• Strong understanding of time value of money applications on valuation of financial instruments
• Strong technical accounting skills (IFRS/AASB standards)
• CA, CFA or CPA qualified (or actively working towards)
• Proficiency of Microsoft Excel and database tools such as Access (desirable)
• Ability to engage and influence multiple stakeholders and manage competing deadlines
