Job Description
WEX is seeking a Mid-Level Software Engineer to join its Risk Engineering team. The successful candidate will design, develop, test, and deploy new features and functionalities for WEX's microservices platform.
Requirements
- Design & development experience with microservices, including service discovery, communication protocols, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with agile development methodologies, including TDD and BDD.
- Familiarity with data and AI technology or tools, including data analysis and machine learning.
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages, including Java, C#, Golang, or Python.
- Experience with scripting languages, including TypeScript.
- Experience with cloud environments, including Docker Containers and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with event-driven architectures, message queues, and stream processing frameworks.
- Understanding of microservices architectures, including service discovery, load balancing, and API gateways.
