Chemist - Coatings - East Midlands

Our client is a highly successful UK based company seeking additional Chemists to join the Technical Team to support the continued growth of the company. They will have an in-depth knowledge of water based coatings for the development and production of new systems and processes.

Requirements

• Experience in the development of water based coatings, particularly in the textiles, nonwoven, paper or leather industry.
• Knowledge of a range of crosslinking resin systems such as polyurethanes, silicones and acrylates.
• Elastomer experience would be of benefit.
• Able to manage projects and be an effective contributor to multidiscipline teams.
• Excellent communication skills with fluent written and spoken English is essential.
