Damage Prevention Technician

This position is responsible for protecting public safety and the integrity of physical pipeline assets by locating and marking utility lines and responding to one-call tickets.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, or equivalent
• At least 2 years of related experience
• Valid driver's license and company insurability requirements
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and various operating systems
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, holidays and respond to call outs and emergencies
• Knowledge of reading and interpreting blueprints, PI&D's and other diagrams
• Knowledge and experience in safe handling practices of flammable gases, liquid, and high/low pressure systems
• Ability to work with a team and follow work rules
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
