The pipeline controller position is in Brookshire, Texas. Newly hired employees will receive on the job training including safety procedures, regulatory requirements, and other procedures related to the pipeline industry.
Requirements
- Prefer minimum of 60 college credit hours with oil and gas field operations/plant experience or minimum of 60 college credit hours with relevant oil and gas or air traffic controller experience in the military
- 2-3 years of chemical /oil/gas industry experience
- Basic Computer skills including the use of Microsoft office products
- Successfully complete all pre-employment screening requirements; criminal and employment background checks, DOT drug screen, etc.
- Team player who interacts well with co-workers, customers and the public
- Good communication skills (verbal Self driven to learn and written)
- Must be able to sit and or stand at the console for a 12 hour shift or longer with the exception of occasional breaks
- Must be able to quickly learn and become proficient with procedures and processes pertaining to WhiteWater assets
- Must be able to evacuate the control center in an emergency and immediately report to White Water designated alternate control center
