Whitfield Regional Hospital, a member of the Tombigbee Healthcare Authority and UAB Health System, operates a 99‑bed facility that delivers more than 30 medical and surgical services. The hospital has implemented a dedicated hospitalist program and pioneered the use of UAB’s tele‑ICU system, becoming the first in Alabama to offer remote critical‑care monitoring. CERTIFIED OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT (8AM-4:30AM)
Must possess the ability to perform various tasks, including adhering to treatment plans, motivating patients, and communicating effectively with staff
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST (8AM-4:30PM)
Must have a B.S. degree in Occupational Therapy and be registered with the National Board Certification of Occupational Therapy
PHYSICAL THERAPY DIRECTOR
Must have a program of physical therapy education, a current and valid license in Alabama, and CPR certification. Supervisory experience is preferred
RN - ADULT PSYCH
Must have a Registered Nurse license in Alabama, be able to communicate effectively, and have a customer service focus
RN - MICU (7AM -7PM & 7PM-7AM)
RN license in good standing, CPR certifications, and diploma from an accredited nursing school
RN - MED SURG (7:00AM-7:00PM)
2 years of experience as a RN in Medical Surgical, current CPR Certification, graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
LICENSED RESPIRATORY THERAPIST
Graduate degree, licensure, and specific credentials required, with strong communication and recordkeeping skills
LPTA - HOME HEALTH
Must have a formal education program of Physical Therapy Assistant and be licensed by the State of Alabama Board of Physical Therapy
RN - EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT (7AM-7PM & 7PM -7AM)
RN with 2 years of prior experience preferred, but not required. Current RN license in good standing with the Alabama Board of Nursing required
RN - GERI PSYCH (7PM-7AM)
Minimum 0-1 years of experience
