Job Description
Whitley Penn, a leading CPA and Consulting firm, is looking for a Senior Tax Manager to join our team, responsible for managing client relationships and expectations, identifying revenue generating opportunities, and guiding and providing support for the development and growth of others.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in public accounting
- Active CPA license
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting; Master’s degree preferred
- Extensive knowledge of the Internal Revenue Code, and other tax laws, regulations, and guidance
- Professional appearance, demeanor, and positive attitude
- Ability to apply theory and experience to individual circumstances
- Ability to analyze problems and recommend solutions
- Ability to assess, analyze and manage risk using appropriate frameworks, professional judgment, and skepticism
- Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing; actively listens and clearly communicates ideas and information
- Ability to lead and work respectfully and productively with diverse individuals in a variety of roles
