Whitley Penn is looking for a Tax Senior Manager to join their team in Austin. The role involves managing client relationships, identifying revenue-generating opportunities, and guiding the development and growth of others.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in public accounting, demonstrating a progression in tax return complexity, scope, and research.
- CPA certification
- Bachelor's or Master’s in Accounting
- Extensive knowledge of the Internal Revenue Code, and other tax laws, regulations, and guidance.
- A professional appearance, demeanor, and positive attitude.
- Ability to apply theory and experience to individual circumstances.
- Ability to analyze problems and recommend solutions.
- Ability to assess, analyze and manage risk using appropriate frameworks, professional judgment, and skepticism.
- Excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing; actively listens and clearly communicates ideas and information.
- Ability to lead and work respectfully and productively with diverse individuals in a variety of roles.
