Job Description
WHOOP is seeking an Android Engineer II to join their Healthcare or Growth teams, focusing on features that improve user health through clinical-grade insights. The role involves building scalable Android applications, collaborating with teams, and contributing to a platform that impacts member physical and emotional health. It will work with shared frameworks, improve developer enablement, and monitor app performance.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of professional Android development experience
- Proficiency in Kotlin (and Java) and Android Jetpack
- Understanding of Android app structure, lifecycle, concurrency and memory management
- Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and backend services
- Familiarity with modular architecture and scalable design systems (MVVM, MVI)
- Experience using Git and productivity tools
- Exposure to mobile CI/CD workflows and build configuration
