Class 1 Gravel Truck Driver

Class 1 Drivers with extensive experience hauling top soil, gravel in confined residential areas are sought for a seasonal position. Responsibilities include hauling materials to various work sites in Edmonton and the surrounding area, following assigned routes and schedules, and performing daily vehicle safety inspections and maintenance checks.

Requirements

• Haul materials to various work sites in Edmonton and the surrounding area in a timely and safe manner
• Follow assigned routes and schedules for efficient and timely deliveries
• Perform daily vehicle safety inspections and maintenance checks
• Maintain accurate logs of materials and deliveries
• Operate equipment safely and efficiently
• Ability to self load with a loader an asset
• Follow all traffic regulations and company driving policies and procedures
• Ensure proper securing of all loads prior to transport
• Communicate effectively with team members, superiors, and clients
