Journeyman & Apprentice Carpenters

Wilco Contractors Northwest Inc. seeks a Journeyman & 2nd year and up Apprentice Carpenters to oversee and work on carpentry projects on site. The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of construction codes and experience in concrete work, forming, and framing.

Requirements

• Read and interpret construction plans and blueprints
• Prepare, erect and remove structural formwork
• Construct wood forms for concrete construction projects
• Construct wooden framing
• Install roof systems, partitions, and stairs
• Move material on the construction site
• Maintain and clean tools/equipment
• Maintain and ensure safe working conditions
• Interpret and apply information found in drawings and specifications
• Ability to set priorities and exercise flexibility
• Physically fit with an ability to work, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl
• Able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50lbs
• Effective communication with other employees and supervisors
• Commitment to safe work practices and adherence to safety policies
• Valid driver's license with clean driving abstract
• Reliable transportation to job sites
• Tech savvy, comfortable using an iPhone or android (app) Nektar
