Job Description
Directly responsible for the shop performance as set by the process manager. Contribute to the shop's variable costs by making process and equipment operation more efficient & effective. Initiates continuous improvement projects in process optimization for the shop.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Chemistry
- Monitor daily performance of the operation and communicate evaluation to process/production groups
- Conduct process audits, flow measurements, mass & heat balances as set by the process manager
- Analyze the process adequacy of new investments, methods or techniques
- Follow up on actions implemented to correct or improve situations
