The Vice President of Treasury will be responsible for leading the treasury management and international banking teams, overseeing deposit product management and pricing, and developing a marketing strategy to meet the needs of existing and potential customers.
Requirements
- Responsible for the activities related to sales support, implementation and product management for treasury management lines of business.
- Responsible for the activities related to sales, implementation, product management and operations for international banking Trade Finance and Foreign Exchange.
- Designs, implements and maintains treasury management and international banking services to fully meet the needs of existing and potential customers.
- Develops a marketing strategy, monitors its success, and coordinates the call program with other departmental programs.
- Oversees Deposit product management and pricing for the organization.
- Oversees Commercial payments and payable solution management and pricing for the organization.
- Provides advice and guidance to the treasury management and international banking sales team and may accompany them on calls to customers who need extensive or unusually complex services.
- Employs established methods or techniques in the analysis of financial data.
- Uses knowledge of financial data, including history, strengths, and weaknesses, to evaluate potential solutions to situations.
- Develops, implements, and monitors action plans to ensure the attainment of financial goals.
- Uses objective financial and business analyses to evaluate the returns and risks of business choices.
- Analyzes and integrates trends and patterns to determine the root causes of problems and identify solutions.
- Evaluates short- and long-term implications of decisions.
- Accurately forecasts growth, costs, and business challenges.
- Trains the treasury management team to do the same.
- Responsible for optimizing execution and results.

- Ensures the treasury management and international banking teams maintain compliance with all regulations and follows all policies and procedures.
- Accountable for ongoing process improvement for the treasury management and international banking line of business, as it relates to service delivery and overall customer experience.
- Maintains knowledge of trends and new developments in the field of treasury management and international banking services and ensures that the organization provides the most up-to date, efficient services.
- Directs the activities of Treasury Management and International Banking.
- Provides leadership, direction and growth opportunities to members of the department, performing those responsibilities in accordance with the Company's policies and applicable laws.
- Responsible for interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning or directing work, appraising performance, disciplining team members and resolving problems.
- Work with the Human Resources Department to resolve more complex team member-related issues.
- Serves as a liaison with the Community, Corporate and Retail LOB to ensure sales and product development are meeting the expectations of our customers and team members.
- Develops joint accountability on achieving revenue and balance sheet goals and objectives.
- Provides leadership, direction and growth opportunities to members of the department, performing those responsibilities in accordance with the Company's policies and applicable laws.
- Interviews, hires plans, assigns and directs work.
- Appraises team member performance and works closely with senior management and Human Resources to resolve more complex team member-related issues.
- Incurs and manages risk within and the business line's established risk appetite, policies, procedures and limits.
- Monitors, escalates and develops remediation plans for significant breaches of KPI's or other identified risks and resolves internal and external issues and exam findings.
- Each team member is expected to be aware of risk within their functional area.
- This includes observing all policies, procedures, laws, regulations and risk limits specific to their role.
- Additionally, they should raise and report known or suspected violations to the appropriate Company authority in a timely fashion.
