Family Medicine-Primary Care Obstetrics Group (PCOG)

We are seeking a Family Medicine Physician to join our Primary Care Obstetrics Group (PCOG). The PCOG provides low-risk obstetrical care, including prenatal, labour and delivery, and post-partum care. The successful candidate will participate in the on-call schedule, provide in-house primary obstetrics care at Brampton Civic Hospital, and provide care during their on-call shift for low-risk obstetrics, newborn care and C-section assist.

Requirements

• Certificate of Registration to practice from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
• Certification in Family Medicine from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada; a fellowship would be considered an asset
• Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are considered an asset as we serve a highly diverse population)
