Requirements

• Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Minimum of two years experience in a medical surgical unit (within the last five years)
• Emergency experience within the last five years (preferred)
• Demonstrated competency in arrhythmia interpretation
• BCLS is required
• ACLS, Heart and Stroke certified, within six months of hire date is required
• Coronary Care I is an asset
• Coronary Care II is an asset
• Trauma Nursing Core Course, Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, Neonatal Resuscitation Program and Emergency Nursing Course (c) is preferred
