Job Description
Williams International is seeking a CNC Machinist to join our team. The CNC Machinist will be responsible for the setup and operation of miscellaneous computerized numerical control (CNC) and/or manual machines, ensuring that machines are properly tooled and making recommendations to modify programs as appropriate. The Machinist will also machine and/or test parts according to engineering and customer standards and specifications, and maintain accurate and reliable documentation.
Requirements
- High School or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of machining experience, specifically ID grind experience (OD grind and other machining experience acceptable)
- Ability to read, understand and correctly interpret blueprints, planning and manufacturing specifications
- Working knowledge of machining and/or testing related mathematical concepts
- Basic knowledge of inspection requirements and techniques
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. from floor to waist
- Ability to push or pull a weight of 60 lbs.
- Grip strength of at least 50 lbs.
- U.S. citizenship
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Security Clearance, if needed
