Job Description
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides individualized care to residents, including routine daily tasks, promoting independence, safety, and comfort. This full-time, part-time, plus/part-time position assists with toileting, hydration, meals, and resident care, reporting any concerns and documenting care provided in MyUnity Point of Care.
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Nurse Aide from the Commonwealth of Virginia
- Prior work experience as Nurse Aide (preferred)
- CDP (Certified Dementia Practitioner) designation and completion of Agape CNA Skills Review (required within the first 90 days)
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
