Job Description
The Director of Accounting Services will lead the Finance and Accounting staff, oversee financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance, and drive financial technology transformations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of nonprofit and healthcare-related accounting practices, and proven experience in financial leadership and financial technology.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related business field
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience in a comparable environment
- 3 years of supervisory experience
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Demonstrated knowledge of Medicare Reimbursement principles, Payroll Accounting, and Accounts Payable
- Proficiency with Google Suite, and MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work as a team leader or independently and be self-motivated and goal oriented
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills
