Insurance Coverage/Insurance Litigation Associate

Wilson Elser is a leading defense litigation law firm seeking an Insurance Coverage/Insurance Litigation Associate to join a team of talented professionals in a collaborative, collegial environment.

Requirements

• JD from an ABA accredited law school
• Admitted to practice in the state of California
• 2-8 years of defense litigation
• 1+ years of coverage/coverage litigation experience
• Experience in areas of insurance coverage including drafting coverage opinions in one or more insurance lines
• Experience in either or both third-party or first-party claims
• Coverage analysis and writing experience
• Experience drafting discovery and pretrial motions required
• Experience cross-examining plaintiffs and other fact witnesses preferred
• Experience handling court appearances, depositions, and trial experience a plus
• Superior analytical skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills
