Job Description
The Class A Truss Delivery Driver is a critical link between Wilson Lumber and its customers, delivering high-quality trusses and building materials to job sites while upholding the company's mission and principles. This role involves safe and efficient operation of large delivery vehicles, maintaining professional relationships with customers, and representing the company on the road and at job sites.
Requirements
- Maintain a professional image, representing Wilson Lumber in interactions with customers and other stakeholders.
- Load and deliver roof trusses, floor trusses, and LVL packages to job sites, ensuring loads are secured for safe transportation.
- Follow company driving standards, ensuring compliance with state, federal, and company regulations.
- Ensure deliveries are made to the correct location, engaging courteously with customers and obtaining signatures and receipts.
- Adhere to delivery schedules while optimizing routes to ensure timely and efficient service.
