Manufacturing Engineer I

Role Overview

As a Manufacturing Engineer I, you will assist in designing and improving manufacturing processes and systems using lean manufacturing and project management skills to collaborate with other engineers, production operations and R&D teams, and analyze and optimize production methods and workflows.

What You Will Do

Project research, justification, and implementation, master data maintenance, master data projects, drive continuous improvement efforts in the plant, and participate in cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 to 5 years experience in an advanced high-mix manufacturing environment
• Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering Degree
• Familiarity with a production environment and advanced manufacturing processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills
• Excellent documentation skills
• Mastery of MS Office suite, specifically Excel
• Project management experience, specifically capital research/installation projects
• Master Data management experience helpful
• SolidWorks experience
