Reporting to the manager of Oral health, the successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of various dental services in accordance with the Ontario Public Health Standards 2018.
Requirements
- Certified Level II Dental Assistant; NDAEB Certified
- Certificate in Basic Life Support – HCP
- Current expertise as a practising Level II CDA
- Excellent interpersonal, writing, organizational and communication skills
- Ability to speak a second language would be beneficial
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email and Internet
- A valid Ontario Driver’s Licence, access to a reliable motor vehicle during working hours, as well as 1 million dollars in liability insurance
- A satisfactory vulnerable sector police clearance
- Ability to meet physical demands of position
- Immunizations and TB screening as per WECHU policies
- Knowledge of Ministry database software is an asset
