Journeyperson Mechanic - 310T or 421A

Windsor Salt has openings for Journeyman Machine Repairpersons. Employees will be responsible for maintaining stationary and mobile industrial machinery and equipment in a fast-paced environment. They will be expected to work on all three shifts and work overtime as required.

Requirements

• Operate all mining equipment and lubricate equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Complete inspection sheets, timecards, work orders, and other reports
• Clearly communicate work and status updates with peers and supervisors
• Support hoist and shaft work as needed
• Perform troubleshooting on various equipment
• Read and utilize hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics associated with equipment
• Utilize computers and CMMS systems
• Complete proper installations of systems and components on stationary and mobile equipment
• Assist in the training of employees of lesser skill
• Perform greasing, cleaning, and inspecting of equipment, including the safe and proficient operation of the fuel truck
• Train other employees in safe job procedures of mechanic work
• Maintain a clean and hazard-free workplace at all times
• Contribute to the maintenance team by accomplishing other duties as assigned
