The Patients Rights Advocate is responsible for ensuring that Agency clients are treated with respect and dignity, and that their rights are not abridged. This includes investigating client grievances and allegations, and reporting findings to appropriate staff.
Requirements
- Minimum Master’s Degree in Social Work or related field, or equivalent work experience
- Valid Ohio LSW or LPC
- Thorough knowledge of clients rights rules and regulations
- Strong clinical skills including expertise in systemic family therapy, crisis intervention, family education, behavioral interventions, and substance abuse therapy
