RN - Long term care

The Registered Nurse in long term care must uphold the RN legal scope of practice. This role involves providing quality nursing care to residents, families, and significant others, utilizing the nursing process to ensure competent care. The RN will focus on age-related resident protocols, medication administration, skin wound care, and comprehensive assessments. Collaboration with a team is essential, along with understanding and utilizing the nursing process to deliver high-quality patient care.

Requirements

• RN- graduate from American College of Nursing or National League for Nursing accredited college of nursing.
• Current South Dakota RN license is required, or multi state licensure privileges.
• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices, procedures, laws, regulations, and guidelines pertaining to Long Term Care.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to deal with people in a professional manner.
