Indigenous Executive Assistant

As the senior administrative employee within the portfolio provides administrative support to the CEO/COO/ and executive staff members. Independently organizes and prioritizes administrative activities within the portfolio and ensures that all work is completed within established timeframes.

Requirements

• Five years’ experience in a senior administrative position.
• Experience with e-mail and computerized calendars.
• Experience in scheduling and coordinating meetings.
• Experience recording and preparing minutes and agendas.
• Proficiency with computerized systems (Microsoft Word, Access, PowerPoint and Excel) is essential.
• Typing speed 60 wpm.
• Demonstrated ability to organize, assign and supervise the work of junior employees.
• Ability to compose correspondence on behalf of senior managers.
• Excellent communication skills, verbally and in writing.
• Ability to prioritize a large workload and independently complete a variety of administrative duties.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced corporate environment and work effectively under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively contribute to a team environment.
• The ability to work independently and to establish and maintain good working relationships with administrative staff, healthcare agencies and all levels of management.
• Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
