Licensed Practical Nurse - Repost

We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at the Vita & District Health Centre. The successful candidate will apply the nursing process to support clients/residents/patients in achieving and maintaining their optimum level of health within a people-centered care approach.

Requirements

• Current active registration with the College of License Practical Nurses of Manitoba (CLPNM)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Acute, Transitional, PCH, Primary Care, Public Health-Healthy Living, Home Care)
• Demonstrated ability to foster a collaborative interdisciplinary environment that supports quality services, quality improvement and staff empowerment
• Strong organizational skills and flexibility to meet the demands of the position
• Able to effectively perform the tasks and responsibilities of the position
• Good work and attendance record
• Valid Class 5 driver's license, all-purpose insured vehicle and liability insurance of at least $1,000,000.00
• Satisfactory Criminal Record Check, Vulnerable Sector Search, Adult Abuse Registry Check and Child Abuse Registry Check
