Registered Nurse

Registered Nurse position available at Southern Health-Santé Sud in Portage la Prairie, MB. The successful candidate will provide care to clients/residents/patients in acute, transitional, personal care home, primary care, public health, and home care settings. Must have current active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba/College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses and the scope of practice as defined by the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA).

Requirements

• Current active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba/College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses and the scope of practice as defined by the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA)
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Current Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale (CTAS) certification
• Trauma Nursing Care Course (TNCC) certification
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Acute, Transitional, PCH, Primary Care, Public Health-Healthy Living, Home Care Services)
• Valid Class 5 driver's license, an all-purpose insured vehicle and liability insurance of at least $1,000,000.00
