Job Description
The Obstetrician-Gynecologist (OB/GYN) provides comprehensive medical and surgical care to women, with a focus on reproductive health, pregnancy, childbirth, and disorders of the female reproductive system.
Requirements
- Provides prenatal, perinatal, and postnatal care
- Diagnose and treat gynecological conditions
- Conduct preventative screenings
- Perform in-office and surgical procedures
- Provide contraceptive counseling and family planning services
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)
- Participate in on-call coverage for labor and delivery and emergency gynecological care
- Collaborate with nurses, midwives, and other healthcare professionals
- Serve as a clinical leader in promoting maternal and newborn health
