Mechanical Commissioning Engineer

Winthrop Technologies is seeking a Mechanical Commissioning Engineer to support the delivery of large-scale, mission-critical projects. The role involves carrying out mechanical commissioning activities, executing commissioning protocols, and ensuring HVAC and mechanical services operate in accordance with design intent and specifications.

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a recognised Mechanical Trade with appropriate training and experience.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a similar Mechanical Commissioning Engineer role.
• Strong commissioning experience on HVAC and mechanical systems within commercial, industrial, or data centre environments.
• Solid understanding of construction environments and safe systems of work.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to act decisively.
• Process-driven mindset with a strong focus on EHS and Quality Management Systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to maintain positive working relationships with contractors and vendors on site.
