Winthrop Technologies is seeking a Project Planner to develop, maintain, and review project schedules and controls procedures. The role requires strong analytical, technical, and communication skills, with a focus on proactive planning, risk management, and performance tracking.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
- Minimum 2+ years’ relevant experience in the construction industry, preferably within a main contracting environment
- Experience working on large-scale projects, ideally within the data centre or high-tech industrial sectors
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, sequencing, and planning processes
- Proficient in Primavera P6 and/or Asta Powerproject; experience with BIM / digital construction tools and workflows is highly desirable
- Strong analytical and logical thinking skills, with a sound understanding of programming techniques and typical production rates
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex planning information clearly
- Capable of working to defined, and often challenging, timescales
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of contractual and project management principles
