Tax Assistant

Winthrop Technologies is seeking a Tax Assistant to join their in-house tax function. The successful candidate will play a key role in strengthening tax governance, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring appropriate documentation and controls are maintained across the group.

Requirements

• Qualified or part qualified tax and accounting professional (CTA, ACA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent).
• 3–5 years’ experience in practice or in house with exposure to multi jurisdiction tax issues.
• Strong tax grounding with broad interest across VAT, employment tax and international considerations.
• Ability to synthesise technical guidance, oversee adviser work, and support process and control improvements.
• Strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Experience working with finance teams across multiple jurisdictions or in a fast paced, international environment.
