Playwright Test Lead

Wipro Limited is hiring a Playwright Test Lead to design, develop, and maintain scalable automation test frameworks using Selenium and Playwright for web applications. The role requires 7-8+ years of experience in Test Automation using tools such as Selenium and/or Playwright, with a minimum of 3+ years of strong hands-on experience with Playwright and 3+ years of experience in Automation Script Development using JavaScript.

Requirements

• 7–8+ years of experience in Test Automation using tools such as Selenium and/or Playwright
• Minimum 3+ years of strong hands‐on experience with Playwright
• 3+ years of experience in Automation Script Development using JavaScript
• Strong hands‐on experience with Java and solid understanding of Object‐Oriented Programming (OOPs) concepts
• Experience in designing automation frameworks and test utilities from scratch
• Good understanding of test automation best practices, test lifecycle, and defect management
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD tools is a plus
