The job description is for a TECHNO FUNCTIONAL CONSULTANT L2(CONTRACT) role in Gurugram, India. The job involves taking knowledge transfer, leading and executing large-scale storage migration projects, and managing and optimizing enterprise-grade NetApp and Pure storage environments. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience and strong expertise in NetApp ONTAP, storage networking protocols, and SAN fabrics.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in the installation, management, and support of enterprise storage systems
- Strong expertise in NetApp ONTAP (Cluster Mode/cDOT) via CLI and System Manage and Pure storage Flash array
- Experience with storage networking protocols (NFS, CIFS/SMB, iSCSI, Fibre Channel, S3 Object)
- Experience with SAN fabrics, including Cisco and Brocade SAN switches administration and zoning
- Experience with NetApp management tools (Blue-XP, Active IQ, OnCommand Unified Manager, snap enter)
- Experience with migration tool like XCP, data sync, cloud sync, StorageX, DataDobi, rsync, and Robocopy
- Implement and manage data protection solutions using NetApp technologies like SnapMirror, SnapVault, and Snapshots
- NetApp Certified Data Administrator (NCDA) or NetApp Certified Implementation Engineer (NCIE) certifications are a significant advantage
- Strong knowledge of CommServe, MediaAgents, Virtual Server Agent (VSA), File System Agent, Command Center
- Expertise in Veeam Backup & Replication, Veeam ONE, Backup & Replication jobs, Cloud Connect
- Bridging the gap between project and support teams through techno-functional expertise
- Driving the end-to-end process from business requirement management to integration & configuration and production deployment
- Providing techno-functional solution support for all the new business implementations while building the entire system from the scratch
- Supporting the solutioning team from architectural design, coding, testing and implementation
- Understanding the functional design as well as technical design and architecture to be implemented on the ERP system
- Customizing, extending, modifying, localizing or integrating to the existing product by virtue of coding, testing & production
- Providing product support and maintenance to the clients for a specific ERP solution and resolve the day to day queries/ technical problems which may arise
- Creating and deploying automation tools/ solutions to ensure process optimization and increase in efficiency
