Job Description
Senior Java Backend Developer position at Wire IT in Portugal, requiring 7+ years of experience in software development, strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and cloud infrastructure, with a fun and people-centered work culture.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in software development for retail projects
- Strong expertise in Java (preferably newer versions) and Spring Boot for backend development
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and automation using Terraform and Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience with event-driven architectures using Kafka
- Knowledge of GraphQL Federation for distributed API design
- Proficient with GitHub and modern CI/CD workflows
- Experience with Azure Cloud (preferred) or AWS environments
- Strong communication skills with fluent English proficiency
