Job Description
The Wireline Operator 2 will perform Wireline related duties at the well site and in the shop, ensuring compliance with regulations and maintaining a high level of safety awareness.
Requirements
- Prepare for jobs by performing tool maintenance, pre-job and post-job tool checkout
- Assist rigging up and down the wireline surface and downhole equipment
- Assist in tool string make-ups and assembly of downhole logging tools
- Maintain, clean, and perform preventative maintenance on down-hole and surface logging equipment
- Performing basic duties at the well site and at the shop
- Driving company vehicles in a safe manner
- Maintaining well site/DOT records and communications
- Actively participate in continuous improvement initiatives
- Assist in training other Wireline Operators
- Promoting and maintaining good customer relations
- Communicate with co-workers, superiors, company men, and rig supervisors
