Job Description
The Quality Technician is responsible for inspecting incoming, processed, and outgoing products to ensure conformance with steel industry and customer specifications.
Requirements
- Performs and records visual and dimensional inspections
- Interprets blueprints for inspection processes
- Assists with quality training and investigations
- Writes non-conforming Material Reports and quarantines products
- Provides samples and communication to QA and Purchasing Management
- Assists with ISIR, PPAP, APQP, and capability studies
- Instructs and implements ISO 9001:2015 practices
- Completes accurate records
- Follows and complies with all safety regulations
- Conducts rework and sorting activities
