Senior Vorentwicklungsingenieur (m/w/d)

We are looking for a Senior Development Engineer to join our Technology & Product Innovation team. As a senior development engineer, you will be responsible for the technical development, validation, and validation of product families in development projects. You will analyze technologies and customer requirements to derive innovative concepts, conduct risk analyses, cost estimates, and technology evaluations, and develop methods and tools for technical design and efficient series application.

Requirements

• Completed five-year university studies, preferably with a PhD in mechanical engineering or a comparable technical field.
• Several years of experience in development or product development.
• Fundamental knowledge in construction as well as analysis and numerical methods for structures and fluid mechanics, as well as solid basics in the field of heat transfer and thermodynamics.
• High technical curiosity and intrinsic motivation to analyze complex relationships and develop innovative solutions.
• High level of self-initiative and joy in autodidactic acquisition of knowledge.
• Strong team orientation and joy in collaboration in interdisciplinary projects to achieve challenging goals.
• Enthusiasm for exchanging knowledge and promoting the understanding of technical content among colleagues through tangible and practical presentation.
• Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing.
