CDL Truck Driver

The CDL Truck Driver is responsible for operating heavy-duty trucks with front, side, or rear-end load lift attachments, transporting waste or recyclable material to disposal, transfer or recycle facilities. The driver will interact with the public, understand traffic signs, and complete records or reports. Highly skilled backing maneuvers are essential to perform this job.

Requirements

• Operate heavy-duty trucks with front, side, or rear-end load lift attachments
• Transport waste or recyclable material to disposal, transfer or recycle facilities
• Interact with the public, understand traffic signs, and complete records or reports
• Perform pre and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle and documents checks utilizing the standard DVIR
• Report all unsafe situations or service-related issues to Operations Manager or Dispatch
• Attend and participate in all scheduled training programs, briefings, and meetings
• Notify Operations Manager of any incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage
• Communicate customer requests to Operations Manager or Dispatch
