Environmental Technician (Landfill Gas)

This Environmental Technician (Landfill Gas) role involves operating and maintaining landfill gas collection and control systems to ensure regulatory compliance and optimize performance. Responsibilities include calibrating and operating electronic data collection devices, collecting and managing data, implementing preventative maintenance plans, and performing wellfield valve/vacuum adjustments.

Requirements

• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license
• Experience in environmental fieldwork, construction, electrical, mechanical, or other hands-on work environments
• Working knowledge of gas collection systems, pumps, blowers, or flare systems
• Technical or trade school training in environmental science, mechanical systems, instrumentation, or a related field
• Ability to work independently in field environments with minimal supervision
