Operational EHS Specialist provides project staff support and oversight to ensure the implementation of established environmental and safety policies, programs, and processes. Ensures compliance with legal requirements, corporate programs, and regulatory requirements. Manages EHS programs and information systems to achieve goals and meet company and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Provides on-site or off-site project staff guidance/support
- Communicates expectations related to implementing or maintaining required EHS programs/processes/procedures
- Conducts remote or on-site safety and/or environmental assessments and audits
- Manages several EHS projects/programs
- Administers or uses certain databases and software
- Maintains/updates and helps develop EHS training
- Provides environmental, and/or safety regulatory summaries and/or guidance
- Assists in the management of incidents and injuries
- Anticipates and identifies problems, and takes appropriate action
