Job Description
Ophthalmic Technician sought to work in a multi-specialty clinic providing medical and surgical vision care services throughout Iowa. Requirements include ophthalmic experience, critical thinking, and ability to provide excellent patient care.
Requirements
- Document patients’ medical and ocular histories in the electronic medical record.
- Perform patient workups.
- Complete diagnostic testing, such as retinoscopy, manual refraction, applanation A-scan, keratometry, tonometry, OCTs, and visual fields.
- Provide patient education according to physician instructions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
