AI Engineer (Libra - Legal AI Assistant)

We're transforming how legal professionals work with our AI platform that combines deep legal reasoning with cutting-edge generative technology. As an AI Engineer, you'll play a central role in developing and improving our core product, building end-to-end product features that leverage the most advanced LLMs available via API.

Requirements

• Deep experience building products that integrate large language models (LLMs) via APIs
• Proficiency with FastAPI, Python, and common data science packages
• Strong understanding of software engineering and security best practices
• Experience with modern AI developer tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot, etc.)
• Excellent communication skills in English; German fluency is a plus
• Entrepreneurial mindset and a deep sense of urgency in achieving goals
• Self-starter who enjoys autonomy but thrives in a collaborative team
• Pragmatic approach to problem-solving—focused on impact, not hype
• Ability to balance trade-offs between fast, simple solutions and long-term scalability
