We are seeking a self-sufficient Project Manager I to oversee commercial construction projects from start to finish. This is a new position designed for a proactive, adaptable professional ready to lead projects, communicate effectively across teams (both on-site and remote), and contribute to business development efforts.
Requirements
- Lead projects from design through closeout, applying best practices to deliver quality, on-time, and within budget.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, subcontractors, design teams, superintendents, and internal staff.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and financial reporting, ensuring timely updates and transparency.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project teams and clients, communicating clearly and strategically.
- Identify and resolve design, construction, and scheduling issues as they arise.
- Engage in business development by supporting proposals, presentations, and client relationship building.
- Travel frequently to projects throughout Southeast Michigan; occasional trips to Grand Rapids for training and collaboration.
