Philanthropy Officer – Leadership Giving

The Philanthropy Officer for Leadership Giving is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of individual donors and prospects with the capacity to make philanthropic investments ranging from $1,000 to $25,000 in support of the organization’s mission and strategic priorities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in philanthropy, business, communications, nonprofit management, or a related field.
• Master’s degree or CFRE (Certified Fund-Raising Executive) certification, preferred.
• Significant job-related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of leadership and/or major gift experience in a nonprofit, healthcare, or educational setting.
• Experience working in healthcare or hospital philanthropy preferred.
• Experience managing a Grateful Patient Program or similar healthcare philanthropy initiative preferred.
