Job Description
Wood is seeking a Senior Automation Technical Professional with a background in Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) to work at a client in Borger, Texas. The role involves designing and implementing automation systems, supporting project phases, and assisting with vendor procurement and customer installations. Wood is a global leader in consulting and engineering.
Requirements
- Participation in designing and implementing automation systems for oil & gas and process industry projects.
- Support site surveys, FATs, SATs, and commissioning activities.
- Review project schedules and cost estimates.
- Travel to customer locations for project implementation (25%).
- Hands-on experience with Honeywell Experion PLC's or Allen Bradley PLC5 or Rockwell ControlLogix PLC.
