Construction Manager Life Sciences Project EOI

Wood is accepting expressions of interest for a Construction Manager to join their team in Georgia. The Construction Manager assures the quality and integrity of each project, bringing projects in on schedule and within budget.

Requirements

• Responsible for all aspects of construction management project of large size and complexity.
• Accountable for the overall contract construction effort and commissioning strategy;
• Responsible for supervising, organizing and coordinating head office, site construction and commissioning teams to provide high quality support in accordance with the Contract;
• Ensure work pack and material delivery aligns with construction mobilization;
• Provide construction expertise during FEED, Detail Design, in the form of constructability reviews, scope minimization and ensuring safest and most efficient construction methods adopted;
• Actively engages with the other contractors / sub-contractors to ensure seamless delivery at site(s);
• Delivery of site teams to meet Client’s business schedules;
• Delivery of reduced costs at site by continual review of performances and improvements by the site teams;
• Ensure the site construction and commissioning process with regard to the provision and use of corporate and project specific procedures, processes and systems;
• Monitor the competency and training requirements of all construction/ commissioning personnel;
• Ensure safety, quality and environmental responsibilities and accountabilities have been defined and communicated to workers engaged within their area(s) of control;
• Manages and controls project cost and schedule of assigned discipline / subset of on site construction.
