Wood is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to provide support in engineering services in the field for mining projects in Chile. The role involves project management, contract construction management, and leadership of work groups.

Requirements

• Mechanical Engineer with experience in project management in its engineering and construction stages
• Knowledge and experience in field engineering services, contract construction management developed by others, and management of interfaces between such contracts
• Leadership and management of work groups
• Direct interaction with the client, reporting management results, proposing actions, and participating in decision-making
• Leadership and coordination of contracts with contractors and suppliers on behalf of the client
• Interdisciplinary coordination
• Vendor engineering review, with critical analysis and operational and maintainability vision
• Leadership and management of work groups in the development of studies for the project
